My personal Must haves for winter skincare.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year (as they say) with many celebrations taking place with, black Friday, Bonfire night, Christmas, New Years and a few Birthday celebrations just thrown in here and there, and let’s not forget the post-celebration blues when January rolls around and it’s back to work and school. It can be exhausting right?

Oh, and did I forget the many parties, the chaos that is Christmas shopping, the food, the cooking. Let’s not forget how harsh the weather can be at this time of the year. It can get absolutely freezing! it’s no laughing matter when the cold brings dry, moisture sucking dry skin.
My skin can be especially dry during this time of the year.

I’ve also discovered that during this type of year my skin is a combination, which just means that my skin is dry around my mouth and parts of my cheeks and then everywhere else is oily.
I’ve found some lovely skincare items, that keeps my skin balanced and moisturised throughout the day.

Bye-bye dry skin.

My winter skincare began with Nuxe face and body ultra-rich cleansing gel, with some cleansers they can leave your skin feeling tight and very dry. Nuxe is wonderful because my skin will feel hydrated and it’s a great cleanser too. One pump is all you need to remove all makeup.
This product will cost you £14.50 from M&S and will last ages!

The body shop’s drops of youth are the most expensive in my skincare regime, This product will cost you £26. Made with 99% natural products, this little bottle is great for protecting skin from pollution and it gives skin a beautiful glow.

I also recently discovered Weleda skin food a couple of weeks ago, this product is magic in a tube. This product will cost you between 5- 9£. It can be used on chapped lips, on dry patches of your body, on your face. I love to use a tiny amount of this product to add extra hydration to my face, and my skin sucks it up like water. Although this product is thick it doesn’t make me break out, if you decide to use it every day it will clog your pores.
Made with natural ingredients.

Dry patches of my body that I struggled to hydrate in the past, has just been revived and brought back to life with this product.
Love, Love, Love it!!!

To top my skincare off I love to use Protect ‘n’ Glow Radiance booster SPF 30 by Simple. This product will cost you only 3.99.
It helps the skin to glow and protects the skin from UVA & UBV lights, pollution and the harsh weather.

SPF is important in general because it can also prevent hyperpigmentation.

As you can see I take my skincare very seriously, I like to work with my natural beauty, it also helps to have good skincare because makeup will just look better overall.

I recentely discovered Cerave a few weeks ago.

This cream retails at £12.00 and will last you a long time!

This cream can be used for body also but I use it on my face only. Although this cream is for dry to really dry skin it does not make me oily in any way. It keep my skin hydrated all day without breaking me out.

Description: Cocooning yet non-greasy, the moisturising cream contains three essential Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid that work in synergy to moisture and protect skin’s natural barrier. Locking in moisture for all-day hydration, it utilises MVE® Delivery Technology, which ensures controlled release of ingredients for 24 hour hydration. Gentle on skin, it leaves itchy, uncomfortable patches feeling soft and replenished. Developed by dermatologists.

I love to mix Cerave with indeed labs collagen booster. This product aids in boosting the skins firmness, and adds extra moisture to my skin.
